I have been coaching and guiding people through states, changes and transitions for over 25 years while maintaining an active business life as a cofounder of Paper Traders stores and Bailey & Casey Real Estate, in Eugene. Before I came to Oregon, in 1974, I had been a Congressional Legislative Assistant, high school teacher, attorney, and book editor.

I have been studying and working with alternative modalities for self-healing since 1969, no matter what else was going on in my life. I have done breathwork, now called conscious breathing, sessions with over 1000 clients. I was one of the first ten qualified Rebirthers, working directly with Leonard Orr from 1975.

Just to fill in the blanks, I have a BA from Dartmouth College and a JD from George Washington University Law School. I have certificates from Lane Community College Small Business Program, the Graduate Real Estate Institute, countless training seminars and workshops, and, not least, The Howard Hamilton School of Hypnotism, in Albany, Oregon.

I am certified in Clinical Hypnotherapy by the Oregon Hypnotherapy Association and by The National Guild of Hypnotists as a Certified Hypnotherapist.
