WELLNESS COACHING

You set the goals. I make suggestions. Together, we decide how to build higher levels of wellness into your life. Being well certainly means taking care of your physical body and engaging in health-bringing actions. Humans, though, require more. We are mind, heart, and spirit. All parts of ourselves are involved. Our health seems to ask of us that we bring certain aspects of our lives into balance. For most of us, these areas of life that make up a healthy life include:

  • Physical Body
  • Family and Friends
  • Mental life: a sense of purpose and of growth
  • Finances and Career
  • Feeling of making a contribution to others

Add these if you like, and other areas of life as you prefer to express them.

  • Fun and pleasure
  • Desirable physical environment

Just for yourself, rate each area anywhere from one (not as you’d like) to ten (great!). One of the possibilities of wellness coaching is that we could bring the numbers more into balance, if you like.

Most of us deeply desire an evolving state of high vitality, purpose with heart, a sense of making a contribution, relatedness, alignment with our work, and more. You may have a pretty good idea what you need. Most of us do, but have a hard time getting there. Perhaps you could do, be and have more of what you want if a coach encourages and supports you to move and grow in the ways you want? That’s wellness coaching.

And this can be done over the phone – or in person -- with a bit of email in between!
