WHAT CAN YOU GAIN FROM COACHING?

Personal Coaching can be considered an ongoing relationship that focuses on the Client taking action towards the realization of his or her vision, goals, or desires.

Coaching presupposes that the Client has the resources and the ability to discover and use those resources. The Coach acts as a client-centered facilitator.

Coaching is an alliance that focuses on you achieving your goals. Coaching provides an oasis of clarity, and prepares you for action. Although coaching may help bring about a therapeutic result, it is not psychotherapy. Coaching concentrates on the present and the future, supporting you to overcome blocks to your success.
Your Coach is your ally, guiding you with the tools, structures and support to follow through on your ideas. Your agenda and your needs are the content of coaching. Your coach provides the focus, feedback and accountability for success.

The Purpose:

  • To assist the client in realizing her or his resources and powers.
  • To build the client’s level of awareness and responsibility.
  • To provide the client with structure, support, and feedback.
  • To encourage the client’s flexibility in the process of overcoming challenges.
  • To bring out the best in the client

The client clarifies the present state, what is necessary in the future, i.e. desired state. The In the role of coach, I make suggestions of ways to get from the present state to the desired state. The responses and solutions, though, come from the client.
